JOB OVERVIEW:  House Attendants are to assist the Housekeeping department in the cleaning and general maintenance of the property in accordance with company housekeeping standards. As a House Attendant you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties: delivering/carrying down and sorting linen, special cleaning projects, vacuuming, delivering amenities and laundry, discarding trash from guest rooms/floors, room readiness, moving furniture, cleaning glass ware, and other requests that may be asked of the housekeeping department. Support the Room Attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel. Sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures. Remove trash from offices and work areas to loading dock dumpster and remove trash and linen from cleaning carts. Deliver miscellaneous items and supplies to guest rooms and deliver linen and supplies to guest floors. Move furniture, supplies and equipment. The Citizen Hotel has a distinct design and help guide a team willing to go above and beyond to ensure the hotel and guest rooms are kept luxurious and stylish.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Qualified applicants will have the following:

- Must be able to speak, read and write English.

- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.

- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.

- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.

- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

- Must have open availability and be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

- Previous housekeeping experience required
