Material Handler
Global Auto Parts Manufacturing looking to partner with a dedicated Material Handler. Our customer supports major automotive manufactures by producing quality parts that go into the cars we drive everyday
Duties include:
Assemble, align and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components
Load workpieces into welding machines.
Install appropriate electrode size and type, tips and welding rod or wire
Remove part from welding machines and place final products into containers.
Start, monitor, and adjust robotic welding productions lines.
Turn and press buttons to start welding machines.
Requirements include:
Must have prior manufactory and material handler experiences
Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with positions
Safety experience in a plant familiar with all PPE procedures & requirements
Must be willing to cross train
Must be able to work required overtime
Must comply with attendance and punctuality policy
Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs. continuously
Pre-screening testing is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Benefits Available:
2nd shift
Time/half for overtime
Great pay rate: $11.75 per hours
