Palletizer - Full-time / Part-time

Avon, Ohio company has an immediate opening in their Packing/Palletizing Department

 

         $11.00/hour

         Hours: 2nd shift; time start/end varies ( 2:00pm-4:00m;10:00pm-2:00am) M-F +O/T required

         Temp-to perm potential

 

Duties include:

         Responsible for the packaging of finished goods into cartons, etc. and palletize according to specs.

         Read and interpret production schedules.

         Accurately pack Finished Goods with correct labels

         Set-up, operate and maintain taping & code dating machine

         Stack cartons in correct tier configuration and layer count

         Record yield data

         Other duties as assigned

         Adherence to all department procedures

 

Requirements include:

         Ability to read/write and follow written work instructions        

         Must have basic math skills to add, subtract, divide (Repetitive counting)   

         Must have NO ALLERGIES to any food

         Must be able to work in a cold environment (lower than 50 degrees)

         Must be fast, able to stand on feet entire shift

         Electric pallet jack & Forklift experience is a plus+

         Able to lift/move up to 32 pounds .

         High school diploma/GED required

         Prescreen testing required
