PT & FT EVENT ASSOCIATES - Full-time / Part-time

Drapery Connection (www.DraperyConnection.com) is looking for dynamic top performers to join their Business Development department responsible for the growth and marketing of the company. You will be representing the company as the face and voice of our design expertise, generating long term account relationships and high volume client interaction.

You bring to the table: 

• Having "presence" you can quickly build not only rapport, but also confidence and trust with our clients.
• Your track record, talent and experience DEFINES & MATCHES what we need.
• A self starter and finisher, with detail to go the extra mile and be held accountable for agreed upon goals.
• You excel making calls or interacting with clients over 50+ times a day, selling value and not price, and managing your time effectively.
• Advanced skills in communication and technology (Microsoft tools and CRM) to enhance the customer experience.
• You have "Presentation" skills from prior networking events, speaking engagements, or theatrical "on-stage" background, and welcome the chance to be "face to face" with clients.You have

Description of what the role entails:

• Generating leads and long term account relationships with realtors, designers, builders, other trade businesses, and residential clients through outreach campaigns and events.
• Scheduling designer visits and prepping materials for their sales opportunity
• Travel between Chicagoland locations for events, networking opportunities, and showrooms.
• $30k base plus bonuses based on appointment confirmations
