Staff Scientist - IMMEDIATE NEED!

Aerotek Scientific is looking for qualified 3 Staff Scientists who want to work for in a bio-chemical laboratory located in the Columbia, MO area.

Position Summary:

• The Staff scientist position responsibilities are as follows:
• Completes work for research and development under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Conducts and monitors studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Writes reports on studies.
• Provides complex analytical work (protein chemistry, ELISA, cell based assays OR HPLC) on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
• Works with independence on studies and assignments.
• Typically serves as technical leader within a group or team and may also serve as project leader/study director on assigned projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or some sort of life sciences.
• Must have at least 5 years of industry experience doing cell based assays, cellular biology, immunology, ELISA, or Western Blot.
• 5 years of industry experience performing protein chemistry, chromatography- UPLC, LC/MS, HPLC, ion exchange, gel electrophoresis in the med device, diagnostic or biotech industry.

Starting Pay, Benefits, and Working Hours:

• Pay Rates: $22 - $32.00/hr (based off of experience)
• Full Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.)
• Relocation packages provided
• Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
