Our Aerotek client is seeking a Helpdesk Customer Support Associate to join their team in Gainesville, VA! The client is an alarm security company that has been in business for more than fourty years and provides intelligent security and home automation solutions tailored to the needs of the customer. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Process all inbound customer and Technical Service Partner calls. Position has primary responsibility for troubleshooting customer requests and providing other telephone support.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all call logs pending customer call-back and research due to any reported issue.
Complete programming and code change requests at customer, AHJ, or technician direction.
Responsible for all post-installation panel programming, including, but not limited to:
- Code Changes.
- Point management (deactivating/reactivating points of protection as required).
- Scope adjustment (bringing entire customer base to current installation standards as required).
- Adjusts panel programming as directed by police or fire marshals to be in accordance with local laws.
- Coordinate communications for the National Service Center
Routes and distributes incoming support calls to the proper group within the National Service Center.

- HOURS:

Wednesday - Saturday: 9am-8pm

REQUIREMENTS:

- Help desk background preferred

- Customer service experience

- Outgoing personality
