General Production Worker

The General Production Worker are responsible for the production services of packaging solutions. There are various automated machines and mold systems on site that take part in the production of the packaging.

There are three different departments that the candidates will cross-train:
1) SPRAY:
- Order and identify the specific mold and number of pieces to make
- Use a pneumatic sprayer to spray polystyrene (liquid foam) into the wooden molds
- Remove mold and check for completeness and quality
- Move the piece to the trimming department.

2) TRIMMING:
- Trim the excess plastic from the foam piece using a box-cutter to trim the plastic - - Move the piece either to packaging or assembly

3) ASSEMBLY:
- Glue different sections of the foam package together: it could be as simple as two pieces, side by side, or as complex as 10 different pieces to make a foam rack to hold a larger piece in place during shipment.

IN EACH DEPARTMENT: candidates will punch into their job on the computer, print out the instructions, and then perform their duties. Once completed with that job, they punch out of the job and move onto the next one.

There is currently (7) openings:
(2) 1st shift - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
(5) 2nd shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm
