CMT Concrete Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Civil Engineering Services is currently seeking a CMT Concrete Technician. This position is located in Dallas, looking to hire as soon as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This person will be in the field on various projects taking samples of soils and concrete and performing tests on the samples (the tests are performed in the field and in a lab).
• They will be testing the material's strength, cure temperature, density and durability.
• They will mainly be working on smaller concrete projects such as restaurants, parking lots and some school districts.
• They need to have experience with proctors, concrete, breaking cylinders and densities.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• ACI Certification
• 1+ Year of Experience in the Industry (Concrete and Soils Testing Experience)
• Basic Math Skills (Converting fractions to decimals, reading a ruler, etc.)
• Communication Skills - they will be communicating with superintendents and other construction personnel in the field
