Mechanical Designer
Ideal candidate must have a strong design experience in SolidWorks or SolidEdge.
- The candidate must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Create from scratch and or utilize and manipulate already created shop drawings for custom commercial kitchen equipment, including floor plans, elevations and any other specifications provided.
- Solid modeling is required and a background in sheet metal is a plus.
- Developed detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using SolidWorks software.
- Produce three-dimensional models using SolidWorks software.
- Laid out and drew schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Modify and revise design drawings to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
