R&D Chemist- URGENT Need!

Aerotek Scientific is looking for a R&D Chemist who wants to work in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. The facility is located in Kansas City, MO. There is 1 Full Time Immediate Opening.

Position Summary:

• Conducts analytical testing for drug substance, drug product, stability samples, cleaning verification samples and other samples
• Locates and orders all equipment and reagents to be used in testing the product
• Develops methods of testing
• Follows procedures for the various tests as indicated in test methods for GC, LC, ICP OR AA
• Documents, analyzes, and reports data and findings
• Validates/verifies raw materials, in process, and finished products
• Assists in writing and executing validation plans for Standard Test Met
• Documents each step of the appropriate procedure in the appropriate notebook
• Enters completed notebook pages into product submission packet
• Monitors product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications are in line with USP and GMP standards
• Compiles and interprets results of tests and analysis
• Reviews MDS (Material Data Sheets)

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS or BA in Chemistry, Biology, or life sciences
• 2-5 years of industry experience as R&D Chemist performing specifically GC, ICP, AA OR LC in a pharmaceutical, med device or nutritional products

Starting Pay, Benefits, and Working Hours:

• $19 - $22/hr
• Full Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.)

1 Shifts available:

1. Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
