JOB SUMMARY
Provides services for patients during surgical procedures. Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care that meets the mission and goals of quality care and service excellence at Sanford. Assist with assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, or documenting the care of patients. This care will be delivered in accordance with established standards of performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
North Dakota LPN (NDBON) or North Dakota Surgical Technologist (NDBON)(SGTND) within 4 months & National CST (NBSTSA) (CST) within 6 months High school diploma required. Graduate from approved school for Surgical Technology. Current National Certification as a Surgical Technologist or graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing with a current, unencumbered North Dakota license required. Certification for new grads will be required within 6 months of employment. CPR certification required within six weeks of employment, re-certification as required. Registration with or eligible to be registered with the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required. If the incumbent is not registered when hired, the incumbent must complete application process within 4 months to continue employment
