About this job
This Internship will support the Lowes Foods eCommerce organization on a series of current and new project initiatives. You’ll be right in the middle of a fast-paced part of our business and asked to fulfill a number of important (and widely varied) tasks and responsibilities. This position is likely to split time between the Lowes Foods office and store locations in order to support a wide range of test projects. It’s a great opportunity to be right in the middle of the very fast-paced and highly disruptive grocery ecommerce market and learn the fundamentals of grocery retail, eCommerce, fulfillment, and customer service.
Responsibilities
New Initiative Testing & Support
Work directly with the eCommerce tech and ops teams to assist with small-scale tests in the field – including delivery services, kiosk/locker services, in-store technology testing, etc.
Product Data & Photography Alignment
Support a series of projects aimed at improving the product experience on the Lowes Foods To Go website, including product description research and updates, product photography quality assurance, and more.
Quality Assurance Support
Partner with our eCommerce technology experts to assist on Quality Assurance testing for new website features and functionality as they emerge over the summer.
Store Technology Audits
Assist with developing a comprehensive inventory of store technology systems that support our eCommerce and online fulfillment capabilities.
Qualifications
Pursuing degree in eCommerce, Marketing or similar field.
Minimum rising Sophomores, preferably rising Juniors, Seniors, or Grad Students
