About this job

To supervise guest service, marketing programs and operations of the Lowes Foods to Go department (in stores with annual LFTG sales of at least $400,000 and order item counts of at least 16,000 items shopped per period) to ensure achievement of budgeted results and operational goals.

Responsibilities

1. Achieve budgeted goals for LFTG department

2. Operate department according to marketing, operation guidelines and programs

3. Maintain appropriate records applicable to position and LFTG

4. Ensure staff is utilizing proper selection procedures, Done Right the First Time program, effectively and safely handle/bag/load product through proper handling procedures and properly greeting and reviewing orders with guests

5. Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies

6. Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure LFTG department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards

7. Train management trainees as needed

8. Maintain LFTG station including all equipment and sanitation standards in the freezer and cooler

9. Communicate out of stocks and/or quality/freshness situations to store management on a daily basis

10. Communicate any service issues with Guest Care Center and store management on daily basis

11. Communicate with guests, via phone and email, to ensure guest satisfaction

12. Conduct LFTG/LFS marketing in store and community

13. Provide in-store guest service as needed. (bagging, help locating product, cleaning, No Noticeable Wait)

14. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

15. Announce LFTG information on the PA system

16. All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

1. Ability to work well with others, friendly, outgoing personality who enjoys working with people

2. Ability to read and understand written, verbal, and electronic direction 3. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

3. Knowledge of LFTG operations

4. Ability to supervise people including training and development

5. Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the position

6. Effective communication, guest service and selling skills

7. Ability to effectively communicate with store management and the Guest Care Center

8. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email, keyboard and basic computer skills

9. Ability to work various shifts in a fast paced environment

10. Must be able to work Sunday through Saturday and holidays
