About this job
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of process automation, data collection and reporting systems within the metals industry. The selected individual is accountable for coding, debugging and implementing solutions by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, debug and modify new and existing software designed in multiple languages C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Delphi, PL/SQL and the .NET framework.
Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure that solutions are efficient, consistent and fulfill business needs.
Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
Work with project teams to ensure adherence to and continued development of software development best practices.
Travel to customer sites in North America
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
.NET development skills
SQL development skills
Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
Microsoft products including MS Office suite of products
Additional Skills:
Metals manufacturing experience
Embarcadero Delphi experience
PL/SQL experience
TFS Experience
