Job Description Duties
Local business is growing and looking to fill multiple entry level production openings. Currently in need of workers to assemble building material components.
Job duties for this position may include:
Placing cut lumber and connector plates in position on assembly tables, hammering reinforcement plates
stacking and banding complete material, catching sawn lumber off of the saw
Verifying dimensions of precut parts and accuracy of assembly, using tape measure and gauges
Working in a non-climate controlled production environment
Shifts are 1st and 2nd shift, Monday - Friday. 40 + hours per week
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16
Operate hand operated and power tools
Read and understand set up sheets, drawings, and blueprints
lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Walk, lift, bend, squat, carry, and stand for long periods of time
Follow instructions and safety practices and procedures
Background and drug screen are required
Must be detail oriented
Experience in construction or home improvement is a plus
