The Director of Talent Development (Training & Learning) will lead the strategy, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent development programs resulting in an amazing employee experience that drives employee engagement and customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a heart for learning, be able to navigate executive partnerships, role-model continuous learning and be on the cutting edge of innovative learning methods, technology and tools. Ideally the Talent Development leader will deconstruct what exists today and reconstruct something that aligns with blended learning technologies to appeal to modern learners and the demographic of the employee population. Additionally, management and leadership learning opportunities as well as position-specific learning paths are ideal first-year outputs of this position and function.

Job Description:
Building effective talent strategy by collaborating with internal stakeholders and aligning strategy to meet overall organizational goals.
Understanding the customer and align talent strategy to ultimately serve the organization s customers and be aligned with organizational culture and values.
Utilizing high levels of emotional intelligence, establish rapport and trust internally and navigate through all levels of client satisfaction and constructive criticism, and applying feedback to process, content and tools improvement.
Designing, building, and ensuring the successful delivery of focused customer service training for employees and new hires.
Tracking and driving measures of success/impact such as: business results, ROI, enhanced customer service experiences, succession planning, performance and retention.
Designing, implementing and leading a management and leadership development initiative.
Developing position-specific learning paths and career tracks for positions within the organization.
Acting as the learning and development expert in the organization, staying current on trends within learning and training and sharing and implementing best practices and key findings
Leading a team that is focused on delivering training to new hires and employees that results in excellent customer service experiences and increased sales of staffing services.
Facilitating and delivering classroom and online learning experiences for new hires, employees and leaders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in business, human resources, organizational development or related field.
7+ years of progressive talent development leadership experience; staffing industry or similar industry experience required.
Must be a high energy, collaborative leader who has subject matter expertise in Leadership, Organizational & Career Development and a proven track record of working independently to build and implement effective talent initiatives.
Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organization and work with people of varying backgrounds and organizational levels.
Ability to analyze information to creatively solve problems, lead change and drive execution and results.
High energy with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical talent & workforce strategies/initiatives.
Ability to lead & drive organizational change initiatives from assessment through implementation.
