About this job
Automation Personnel Services is now hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing plant in the Madison County area. We are seeking a team player who loves working with others and can understand and follow instructions.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Experience working in an industrial environment
Pneumatics, Robotics, Hydraulics, & Schematics
Experience working on 480 v3 equipment
Support and troubleshooting experience with PLC equipment a must
Knowledge of burners, ovens, and/or furnaces
Have good mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic/ electrical/ robotic aptitude
Experience doing maintenance on hydraulic presses a must
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Overtime is required
Other Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions correctly and work with minimal supervision
Well with area supervisors and all other departments in the plant
Show good judgement when issues arise such as customer requirements, variances in raw material quality, and variances in end product quality
Responsible for maintaining quality in completed products.
Meet or exceed monthly productivity goals for the position.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Maintains quality by inspecting finished product.
Work well with other associates.
Follow company rules & regulations.
