Local Fuel Delivery Driver-Nashville - Full-time / Part-time

Shift: Weekend/nights Description and Responsibilities: ML Energy Transportation (subsidiary of Mapco Express) is one of the premier fuel hauling fleets in the nation. We are continually growing in the Tennessee market with our Mapco Stores. Our fuel delivery drivers stay busy and are home daily. We have Day Cab tractors rotating every three to four years keeping equipment fresh and dependable to keep our drivers doing what they do best: servicing our business. Drivers stay and retire from Mapco. *Safely drive to and from customer locations as dispatched. *Ensure the correct gallons and grades are safely being loaded and delivered at the correct location. *Provide fantastic customer service. *Obey all Department of Transportation safety regulations, all loading facility rules, and all applicable laws at all times as well as the ML Energy Transportation Driver Manual. *Maintain, clean, and perform regular inspections of all company owned and leased equipment. *Maintain qualification to drive through mandatory physicals, drug screens, license renewals, etc. *Attend mandatory safety meetings. Requirements (Skills/Knowledge/Abilities): *Class A commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements. *Two years driving experience with safe record. *Maintain qualification to drive as mandated by the Department of Transportation *Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures. *Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations. *Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays. The Fuel Transportation business is 24/7/365. *Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving. *Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel hoses) and without creating a safety hazard. *Maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities we conduct business with once authorized in the training process.
