System Administrator - Full-time

The successful System Administrator will have:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year College or university in a related area; or two years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience with common systems administration tasks in a Windows and Linux environment
• Must be willing to work any shift as dictated by the needs of the business and support on-call activities
• Must be able to navigate stairs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder to facilitate overhead equipment installation.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Perl/Bash/Batch scripting, Cluster Services - Windows and Redhat-based, MPEG, IP Networking, SMTP, Power Shell, SNMP, Isilon.
• Experience with System and application monitoring, commercial insertion systems, targeted commercial insertion systems or the Invidi Platform an advantage.

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Invidi Operations Team at our Cheyenne, WY, Broadcast Center.  The CI-Engineering/Invidi Operations Team is the administrator of a well-maintained Targeted Advertising System. We manage the communications with our partners to allow them to achieve optimal run rates by reducing the mean time to repair and maximizing system uptime.  Our team provides continuous monitoring, oversight and education.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Develop technical & operational understanding of the environment which consists of a targeting advertising system running on a mixed Windows/Linux platform.
• Application and system monitoring.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting of the system.
• Configuration changes to the Targeted Commercial Insertion System.
• Ability to create and maintain high quality written technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Meet deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
