The location is just off the 17, several blocks East between Cactus and Peoria. Please look up the area and consider your commute time before applying!
Job Title
CNC Milling Machine Operator
Summary:
Responsible for setting up and operating a mulit-axis numerical control milling machine to mill surfaces of metalic and non metalic work pieces according to blueprint specifications and tooling instructions, and applying knowledge of machining methods.
Essential Duties:
Study blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances of finshed work
Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors
Enter commands to retrive, input, edit computerized machine control perameters.
Assemble, measure and load tooling for alloperations
Start and observe machine operation to detect any malfunctions
Use micrometers, clpers, depth gauges and other percision measuring devices
Confers with production operators and programmers
Assemble and preset tooling for next duation cycle
Essential Knowledge and Skill Set:
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Six months to 4 years of related experience or training and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and blueprints
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Pay Range:
$13-$18/hr.
Shift times:
2nd Shift: 3:45PM- 2:15AM Mon-Thurs- 4-10's
3rd Shift: 1:30AM- 6:30AM Mon-Thurs, Fri 1:30AM- Noon
