Our client is an American corporation that manufactures insulation, roofing materials, and engineered products.
They are looking for a qualified Controls Engineer to join their team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This engineer will be working in the industrial manufacturing facility to optimize and troubleshoot equipment. The facility makes polyester reinforcement products and they about 80 employees on site at this location. 50% of time on manufacturing floor, 50% of time behind desk/in meetings.
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience as a controls engineer (5-8 is ideal)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (electrical preferred)
- Understanding of Rockwell/Allen Bradley systems (company uses Siemens)
- Experience working with industrial controls
- DeltaV preferred
- AutoCAD design preferred
- Six sigma preferred
