About this job
CNC Programmer:
The company makes spinal implants and spine surgery tools. Must be able to work with a team of engineers.
- Program, set up, and operate cnc mill machine to create one off custom medical device parts
- Will use matercam
- Machining with Haas machines and Fanuc machines
- Can also work with lathes, EDM, swiss screw, 3D printing, and manual machines
- Will coordinate with engineers and doctors to create custom made spinal implants and surgical tools
- Will spend 50 % of the time programming, 25% machining, and 25% working with engineers
- Will do inspections on parts with calipers, micrometers, and all the normal tools
- Working with very small screws, implants, and hand tools
