Senior Firmware Engineer

Must Haves: 1. C Programming Experience 2. Linux OS is required. 3. Design and Development and Unit Testing. Work is comprised of software maintenance activities including analyzing and troubleshooting problem reports from fielded systems, incorporating software fixes into existing software baseline, unit testing, performing software integration and software test. .

Work Environment:

Located in Liverpool, NY. large majority of the site has secured areas. Approximately 1600 total people located in Syracuse. 700+ are within Engineering. The SW Group out of Syracuse supports all 4 business lines of RMS. (Rotary Missions & Systems) Work schedule is a 9/80. Work hours are relatively flexible. Several new development programs which is driving new engineering business within Syracuse, plus there are several legacy programs that are also requiring additional resources. Opportunity allows contractors to work on exciting programs that include upgrading legacy technologies with some of the newest technologies and new research and development programs as well.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Performance Expectations:

Looking for candidates that can come in and hit the ground running. Candidates need to have good communication skills in order to be able to present finds as well as solutions.

Additional Information:

Windows in addition is a plus, but definitely at least Linux Cuda or GPU experience would be a big plus Electronic Warfare experience a plus, radar experience is fairly closely related and is a plus Signal processing is a plus Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning experience would be a plus
