Mechanical Designer (Revit) - Full-time / Part-time

Local Engineering firm is currently looking for a "Mechanical Designer" to join their MEP group. Individual will be working on projectswithin the commercial and industrial sectors (i.e.Universities, Health care, Life Sciences, Corporate etc..)

Primary Responsibilities:

Individual will provide project support in the preparation of drawings for engineering team. Break down information obtained from specifications, sketches, customer layout drawings and instructions furnished by others and convert information into detailed drawings with section views and dimensions.

Minimum Requirements:

-Proficient in all areas of plumbing and/or HVAC design
-Strong commitment to work quality
-Knowledge in architectural, engineering and construction practices
-Must understand the value of client satisfaction
-College degree preferred
-2+ Years experience
-familiar with REVIT and/or willing to learn

-BIM coordinating (preferred)
-Familiar with state building codes and standard industry design practices
