CNC Machinist - Sheet Metal (Full-Time, $14.00/Hr)
Job Location: Commerce, CA 90040 Pay: $14/hr
Job Description: -Manufacture/Assemble and ship ceiling panels made from sheet metal
-Use electrical powered and mechanical tools to modify sheet metal -Product assembly following printed layouts
-Punch Press Operator
-Accurately measure using a tape measure, calipers, micrometers, & gauges.
Work Environment: -Sheet metal manufacturing and assembly warehouse
Qualifications: -MUST have a minimum of 2 years recent experience working with sheet metal shop related work (Mills, Lathes, Presses, Tourette, Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, Blueprints)
-MUST submit a resume
-MUST be able to read & interpret printed plans/Blueprints
-MUST be comfortable standing, twisting and bending during the shift
-MUST be able to lift up to 45lbs
-MUST have Steel-Toe Boots
-MUST be eligible to work in the US
-MUST be able to clear a drug and criminal background screening -MUST be able to work 40 hours Mon-Fri and flexible to work weekends
Performance Expectations:
-Great attendance is required
-Good verbal communication skills
Additional Compensation:
-Six months probationary period before consideration of wage increase with the company based on performance & attendance
Additional Information:
-1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm
-2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm
-3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:30am
