Administrative Clerk/Data Entry - Full-time / Part-time

A manufacturing firm in South Seattle is looking for a Purchasing/Administrative Clerk. This person will need to be independently motivated, enjoy working with customers and performing data entry.

Job Duties include but not limited to the following.

• Receive incoming calls ,routes calls and takes messages
• Receive order and informs customer of unit price, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customers.
• Quotes price and credit terms, and prepares sales orders
• Issue purchase orders as requited
• Prepare work orders for shop production use
• Receives customer complaints and effectively communicates then to management
• Records and files copy of orders received
• Tabulates numerical data and posts on spreadsheets
• Compiles statics prepares various report, sends an answer correspondence
• Maintains sales and correspondence files

Schedule is Mon-Friday 8-5 with little flexibility. You will have an opportunity to learn the buying side of responsibilities as you learn the role.

Manufacturing back ground is a plus but not required

Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Excel utilizing spreadsheets
