About this job
One of our largest growing distribution companies in Northwestern Chicago is seeking a Team Lead for their Distribution Center. They are currently looking to hire on a full-time (with overtime) Team Lead. This company is very flexible on overtime and will let you work anywhere from 40 to 60 hours a week (Optional Overtime). These positions are local to the Roselle, IL area.
SHIFT:
- 1st shift - 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Optional Overtime)
PAY:
- $14-$20/hourly (Depends on experience/Lead experience)
- $21-$30/Hourly (Overtime Pay Rates)
Requirements/Responsibilities of Position:
- Previous Experience in a Lead/Management Role
- Will operate reach trucks, stand up forklifts, and order pickers
- Will fill out inspection report before shift on forklift
- Designate tasks to new candidates
- Responsible for training new hires
- Helping with safety orientation
- Computer Experience
- Will unload freight containers from a dock all day long
- Will stack freight on a pallet so the forklift driver can pick it
- Will read bar codes to determine product location
- Will shrink wrap pallets
- Lift up to 30lbs. consistently
- experience working in fast paced environment
- consistent attendance history
- ability to read, write and speak English
