Laboratory Technician - Full-time / Part-time

1. . Perform applications testing. Adapt tests as required with input from Supervision. Use reasoning skills to trouble shoot problems with test methods and instrumentation.

2. Effectively communicate experimental procedures, data and result summaries through entry into lab notebooks, TAR reports, project summary reports and monthly reports.

3. Establish and maintain relationships with customers' coatings formulation groups and personnel.

4. Utilize statistical concepts for data analysis and management (SQC, Gage R&R, Measurement Systems Analysis).

5. Maintain ISO requirements for lab equipment.

6. Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current color theory, instrumentation and measurement software.

7. Maintain inventory of chemicals used in the Applications Lab.

8. Follow generally accepted laboratory safety practices as outlined in the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
