Field Technician

We are currently seeking a Field Technician for a local company that provides Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling services. They perform soil borings, soil sampling, monitoring of well installations, rock coring, direct-push sampling etc.

Their clients include private businesses, consulting firms, State, Federal and Municipal Governments. They have an opening for a Driller's Helper/ Field Technician.

This person will be assisting Geologist in the field and the office. Will be reporting findings and collecting and sorting field samples for lab etc.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of field work experience such as: working on construction sites, farms, landscaping, lawn care (outdoor work) is required
• General Mechanical Aptitude (using hand tools: screw drivers, wrenches etc.)
• Valid Drivers License
• Experience driving a truck (for example Ford F350 flat bed is a plus)
• Ability to physically lift 45 lbs
• 40 Hour Hazwoper is a plus
• CDL is a big plus
• 10 OSHA is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus
