Hiring Telephonic Nurses to work on-site at a large health-care company. Telephonic nurses will will assess, plan and coordinate all aspects of medical and supporting services across the continuum of care for infusion patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- 2+ years of experience working hands on performing infusions.
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience on the floor.
- Certification in Infusion IV nursing services is preferred.
POSITION DETAILS
- Collaborates with the health care team in providing direction for maintaining high quality patient care, outcomes, and goals for patients. This role specializes in assisting infusion specific patients in an effort to provide exceptional care and support to these patient.
- Build supply list appropriate for home infusion patients; complete first refill review on all home infusion patients to ensure appropriate supplies are added; complete the reorder processing to add appropriate medication and supplies for all home infusion patients.
- Complete all initial screenings for home infusion and hemophilia patients; assist in programming and troubleshooting infusion pumps based on the Plan of Treatment (POT) established by a pharmacist.
