One of my clients are currently looking for certified A&P, Avionics, and Structures mechanics to work on an entire assortment of corporate aircraft. This very reputable company offers a long term position with their company for someone who is looking to grow with the company, and establish a successful career in the aviation industry.

We have positions available for A&P mechanics, Avionics, and Structure mechanics. The candidate will be responsible to work on the following aircraft including, but not limited to: Beechjet, Phenom, Nextant, Global Express, Legacy, Challenger, Citation, Hawker, LearJet, Falcon, and Gulfstream aircraft.

Job Description - A&P Mechanics:

- Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems
- Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA
- Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
- Completes all required maintenance records as stated in companys' Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
- Presents a clean and neat work area to customers facility cleanliness and general housekeeping
- Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required

Qualifications:

- A&P license- MUST HAVE COMPLETED A&P LICENSE
- 2 plus years of aircraft maintenance experience: preferably on corporate or GA aircraft, however, not required
- Ability to work 2nd shift highly preferred

Job Description - Avionics Techs:

- Assists in installations, modifications and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings
- Fabricate and/or install basic avionics and electrical systems
- Assist with more complex installation tasks
- Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairs
- Complete light sheet metal fabrications as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairs
- Assist with the completion of tasks within allotted time frame
- Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups
- Assist with maintaining required logs and records
- Complete wiring harness fabrication and installation
- Has general knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications
- Complete antenna installations
- Complete coax installations
- Complete or assist with OHM and power checks
- Complete or assist with ground checks
- Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred
- At least 2 years experience in avionics installation
- Standard aircraft wiring practices
- Blueprint and wiring diagrams
- Electrical components
- Soldering techniques
- Ability to work 2nd shift highly preferred

Job Description - Structures Mechanic

- Layout, fabricate, assemble, mate, install, check or troubleshoot and repair production and prototype aircraft structures, parts and mechanical assemblies
- Read and interpret information from mechanical/structural, blueprints, planning, process specifications, diagrams, engineering drawings and sketches, and other instructions to determine the methods and sequence of operations to layout, assemble, and install precision parts and assemblies
- Layout coordinated hole patterns, cutouts, trim lines, mating points, assembly and installation locations using precision measuring instruments and equipment
- Assemble and mate aircraft parts and assemblies
- Attach structural parts and assemblies using riveting and hand and power tools, hand trim and finish
- Drill, route, ream, countersink, spot-face and counter bore parts
- Modify or rebuild parts to mold line or configuration changes
- Modify aircraft structure, installation and mechanical systems in accordance with engineering requirements
- Perform experimental and developmental work operations on experimental aircraft or assemblies
- Assemble prefabricated parts into assemblies and mate major sections of aircraft assemblies
- Incorporate major engineering changes and modifications

Qualifications:

- 2 plus years of heavy structural experience
- Working knowledge of rigging and installation of operating mechanisms structures, assemblies and parts, related systems and equipment, and assembly shop practices
- Airframe license preferred
- Ability to work 2nd shift high preferred

The pay for these positions start at $26/hr with a 14/12 per diem split for those candidates who are not local (from outside 50 miles of the job location.) While on contract, contractors will be able to receive a full benefit package through Aerotek, and once going direct with the company, the employee will then be able to receive benefits directly through our client.
