About this job
Aerotek is looking for electrical drafter/designers to support our client in the Fenton, Missouri area. Our client designs electrical systems for industrial installations, health care and research facilities, commercial buildings, and all types of advanced technology projects.
- Inputting rough design or drawing information into CAD software and creating final engineered construction drawing
- Running plots of work inputted into CAD software as required and maintain current working sets for office and field staff
- Creating and organizing project or CAD files to be used for future projects
- Maintaining archived files and assist in preparing reproductions as requested
- Working with Design Engineers and Project managers to maintain Record Drawings and Documents
Qualifications
- Understanding of NEC and Building Codes and basic electrical theories
- 2-Year Associate's Degree in Electrical Systems Design or related field of study or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks or Revit
- Some knowledge of 3D CAD and ability to perform some basic design work in addition to the drafting
This is a long term contract position with a chance to go direct.
