Accounts Payable Clerk/General Cashier - Full-time

Before you know it, the folder is empty, the day ended, and you feel great about your accomplishments. We sure can use your enthusiasm and abilities as Accounts Payable Clerk with Interstate!

As Accounts Payable Clerk/General Cashier, you will

• Use your knack for detail and accuracy to process vendor and associate invoices timely.
• Ensure invoices and purchase orders are correctly coded and routed for approval.
• Help vendors with questions and solve problems as they pop up.
• Maintain accurate records for tracking and follow-up.
• Accurately verify all deposits and prepare them for pick-up.
• Prepare banks and make change for your fellow associates.

Fundamentals

High school education or equivalent experience is required. An Accounting background is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are expected. This position requires the ability to compile facts and figures. You will regularly use a computer, various software and a calculator. You must be able to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person.
