Pet Sitter Wanted - Love Dogs? You'll Love This Job!

Sarah's Pet Care is currently seeking staff for our small, successful, local pet care business, covering Seattle, the Eastside and south Snohomish County. Fun, successful, growing pet care company seeks nearly-full time, daytime staff for weekly and daily group dog park trips, dog walking, and occasional cat visits (precise region to be determined). Previous professional or volunteer dog experience preferred, especially handling multiple, medium-to-large dogs in an off-leash setting. An eligible candidate could be described like this: *You LOVE dogs! In fact, you think spending your days with a variety of dogs sounds like a little slice of heaven. *You want a low-stress, high-independence job that fulfills your need to be productive, active and outdoors, without draining you. *You are a responsible, thoughtful person who wants to support small and local business. *You want to be part of a team that feels like a group of friends/family. *You want to grow both personally and professionally. An eligible candidate MUST: *Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. *Have your own, reliable transportation, in which you can transport multiple medium-to-large dogs. *Be comfortable, relaxed and safe during daily city and freeway driving, including during rush hour. *Be available between the hours of approximately 9am-4pm, M-F. Some occasional weekend and evening hour availability preferred. (Bonus points if you can do occasional overnight house/pet sitting!) *Have a reliable smart phone with full data and texting capabilities. *Be friendly and articulate. *Be great with pets and people. *Be attentive to detailed spoken and written instructions. *Have a strong work ethic. *Have proven track record of being responsible and trustworthy. This job allows for a great deal of independence and flexibility in your day-to-day work and you will typically be unsupervised. Pay on a per-job basis, plus tips (not including drive time, gas or mileage). This position will average out to about 25-30 hours/week. Most staff members with a full schedule (approx 30 hours/week, not including driving time) average between $--.../month gross, plus tips. Excellent references required.
