HR Generalist / Hiring Specialist &ndash Omaha Franchise 

A perfect position for the individual who enjoys the detailed fundamentals of HR and has a passion for helping people! This position has a variety of responsibilities to fulfill someone as the HR Generalist, such as interview, hire, train, coach, employee evaluations, benefits, resignations, worker compensations, compliance, and company policies.

  • Knowledge of current technology programs
  • Bachelor's degree with an HR focus
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR equivalent combination of education or work experience would be considered
  • Ability to participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Follow standard compliance set by company
  • Responsible for all required hiring procedures such as background checks, offsite drug testing, references, e-verify and onboarding documents
  • Training new employees, in-services and quarterly meetings
  • Coaching employees for success along with corrective actions
  • Employee annual evaluations
  • Workman compensation, unemployment benefits and DOL employment verifications
  • Maintains organization of personnel files, information system records and compiles reports from the database
  • ACA and FMLA compliance, as needed
  • Community presentations to attract quality, professional individuals to care for seniors
  • Obtain retention goals with employee engagement activities
  • Performs benefits orientation and administration, change reporting and communicates benefits information to employees
  • Annual random drug screening
  • Oversee and maintain department records and reports
  • Other duties as needed
