Our client company is seeking Customer Service Rep/ Administrative support person
JOB OVERVIEW/PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for driving marketing effectiveness through outbound calling, sales projects, and outside sales support. Also, the position will be performing such duties as providing daily customer service support, order fulfillment and covering essential warehouse duties when needed. As a result, the position requires an individual who will thrive in a hands-on, active business environment characterized by multiple sales and operation activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Increasing sales volume on a consistent basis through an existing customer base and new account acquisition
· Provide all elements of customer service including:
o Heavy volume of phone work for order intake and solicitation
o Computerized order entry
o Order expediting and shipment
o Marketing sample and literature request fulfillment
o Customer service driven problem resolution
· Support new proprietary product launches.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Industrial sales experience in a distribution environment preferred
· Demonstrate and prove a successful track record in industrial business to business sales
· General computer & data entry and excel proficiency
