The terrain park attendant will assist the terrain supervisor and lead attendant with the overall delivery of the terrain park experience of a lifetime for our  guests. The terrain park attendant's primary responsibility will be to assure that all guests have a luxury terrain park experience by monitoring and addressing park behaviors and offering an abundance of Resort and Terrain Park knowledge to all participants. The terrain park attendant will perform regular feature maintenance and a periodic risk assessment of the terrain park venue including design and layout with conclusions deriving from the actual and/or the observed testing of features.  The terrain park attendant will be responsible for implementing park attendant safety throughout each and every day. The terrain park attendant will be responsible to monitor and maintenance all terrain parks, halfpipes, the Big Easy area, events/photo shoots, and training session locations throughout the day. The terrain park attendant will assist in carrying out all guest service and operational goals set forth by all supervisors and leads.

 

 Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Monitor and address guest behaviors throughout the terrain parks, lift lines, congregation areas, and any area used by park participants and ensure that all guests are having the Terrain Park Experience of a lifeime.
  • Monitor and Maintain all terrain parks, halfpipe's, Big Easy area, and training sessions and Special Events/Photo shoot locations
  • Ensures that all animation, fencing, rope-lines and terrain park signage is functional at all times
  • Act's as an ambassador/information host in order to provide the "Experience of a Lifetime" to our guests and employees
  • Must attain a high level of terrain park specific and Northstar Resort specific knowledge in order to offer elevated guest interactions/education
  • Must have a high level of dedication to the overall quality of our terrain parks and our guests experience
  • Must engage in Guest interaction and guest education throughout the entire day

 

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent
  • Ability to work outdoors in an alpine environment during periods of adverse conditions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and guests in any circumstance
  • Must be able to pass a level 7 skiing/riding ability test
  • Must be able to lift more than 50lbs.
  • Must have own ski/ride equipment 
  • Prior mountain operations experience preferred
