Math Instructor

REQUIREMENTS: A degree in math or a related field (e.g. Physics, Engineering etc.) Excellent opportunity for recently graduated (Junior or Senior in Undergrad may apply) / Current, retired teachers / Grad, Post-Grad Students. Excellent academic credentials (un-official transcript must be provided) and obvious passion for mathematics Excellent communication skills, team member attitude and willingness to learn MATHNASIUM's teaching methods. Ability to work well with students of all ages. Availability of minimum of two days per week, between the hours of 3:00 pm-8:00 pm (Mon-friday), 10.30 a.m - 2:30 p.m (Sun).Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, college transcript and at least three references. Only those who meet the requirements will be considered and contacted.RESPONSIBILITIES: Instructing K through 12th grade students, guiding and checking work, and fostering success Understanding and Teaching math to students with a Varied Mathematical Understanding and Learning style.Explaining and illustrating math topics using a variety of strategies and techniques (Manipulatives, drawings, Illustrations and factual experience).Assisting center administrator to maintain a clean, organized and productive learning environment.HOURS: 8-30+ hours/week (consistent hours are available, work schedule may be tailored to individual availability)COMPENSATION: Hourly - Pay is determined by math level they can teach and additional responsibility they can perform
