Job Description
The Golf Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for retail sales and maintaining a neat sales floor in the Pro Shop. Additionally, the attendant will assist the departmental Director and Managers with inventory control, merchandising, and scheduling tee times.
Responsibilities
* Display, effectively communicate, and hold all Omni Hotels & Resorts Vision, our Mission, and Core Values, while maintaining four-diamond service.
* Inventory control through diligent patrolling of the retail area.
* Inventory, along with other staff members, as needed.
* Prepare all merchandise for floor.
* Assist with merchandising.
* Daily sales transactions.
* Efficient communication with all associates in the golf department as well as all other Omni Grove Park Inn departments.
* Ability to deal with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
* Any other requests by management.
Qualifications
* Training or experience with retail sales preferred.
* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
