Screen Print Press Operator - Full-time / Part-time

My client, a family-owned printing company, that offers contract screen printing and related services is looking for a screen printing press operator to add to their growing team. This is a great learning opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting their foot in the door with a growing, locally owned company.

Screen Printing Press Operator Duties:

• Setting up and running jobs on automatic screen printing presses
• Producing product from work orders and product drawings
• Mixing ink to formula and checking for color accuracy to color guide
• Checking alignment and accuracy of prints to match proof
• Checking for proper cure of ink
• Coating, cleaning, exposing of screens
• Checking in supply orders
• Drying, folding, and packing finished shirts
• Maintaining proper housekeeping of the immediate work area
• Cleaning machines

Screen Printing Press Operator Qualifications:

• Prior screen printing experience desired
• Adhere to company's safety rules and policies including proper safety equipment and following MSDS sheets
• Strong attention to detail a MUST
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Critical and Creative Thinker
• Basic mathematics skills
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay: $15 - $20/hr, based on skills and experience
