Automation Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Our Oil and Gas Client in Burgettstown is looking for an Automation Technician for their company. This company is fast growing and there is lots of opportunity for growth.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the installation, electrical wiring, configuration, programming, and training for on-site SCADA Automation equipment.
• Responsible for on-site commissioning of SCADA solutions and systems
• Assist in the design, specification, modification, and innovation of new and existing process control and instrumentation systems
• Assist Automation and SCADA engineers in troubleshooting of systems from the field
• Calibration of various electronic flow meters and Oil & Gas automation equipment
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating work with applicable Stric-Lan Teams (Regional Operations, Sales, Accounting, etc.) to ensure field-work is completed on time and on budget
• Field-level industrial control systems (SCADA/DCS) factory acceptance testing, customer
• Plan and conduct independent work to coordinate field labor with Automation and SCADA Engineers. acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, support and troubleshooting
• Field-level Pre-Sales Technical Support for clients
• Sourcing new automation equipment and researching/testing new technologies
• Responsible for promoting a safety culture and awareness within the area of focus

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Experience with SCADA/DCS/Automation systems
• Experience with Field Instrumentation

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
  • Typical 10 hour days – Could be OT depending on the jobs coming in

PPE:

• Please provide a list of PPE that will be needed

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License is Required
• 5 + years Field Experience
• Must have prior experience in Automation Tech work or Instrumentation in O&G
