Shipping Loader - 1st Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a full-time Shipping Loader in Scottsville, KY for 1st Shift – 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday-Friday.  Pay Rate: $11.75.  Interested candidates should have previous Shipping/Receiving experience. The position is Evaluation Hire.

 Responsibilities of the Shipping Loader:

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand or hand truck 
• Checks, verifies and audits merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received and that merchandise is as ordered and not damaged or defective; enters data into remote data terminal.
• Identifies, separates, labels, and palletizes merchandise onto flats
• Loads outgoing merchandise from conveyor and/or four-wheel truck into trailer
• Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues to supervisor

 Requirements of the Shipping Loader:

• Previous Shipping/Receiving experience
• Previous experience working in an automated Distribution Center is preferred
• Ability to handle physical work load
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

 Physical Requirements of the Shipping Loader:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 12 hours

 Compensation of the Shipping Loader:

• $11.75 per hour
