Cashier - Full-Time and Part-Time Positions

Wolf Hill has many areas of growth, as we are anticipating the opening of our third Wolf Hill Location in the Spring of 2018! Our ideal candidate will contribute new ideas and use their positive attitude to further our position as the premier destination for Landscape Materials & Outdoor Living Solutions on the North Shore. This team member will work closely with their cashier supervisor to facilitate the completion of daily tasks.

General Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations:

· Ringing up customers quickly, efficiently, and always with a friendly approach

· Extraordinary customer service at all times

· Overseeing cleanliness and stock level of your cashier stations

· Contacting correct managers/supervisors for specific department questions

· Provide telephone coverage by answering customer’s questions, taking messages or transferring calls to specific department managers/supervisors, taking delivery orders, etc.

· Taking delivery orders over the phone and in person

· Weekend availability required; daily flexibility a plus

· Willingness to help to help out/work with co-workers when needed

· Understand that the seasonality of our business and changes to inventory and sales can make any single job description just about impossible. This can affect daily duties throughout the year, as well as hours available for work, and results in the possibility of winter layoff.

Qualifications:

· Customer service skills

· Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills

· Verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail

· Confidentiality, reliability, and trustworthiness

· Planning, organizing, and time management

· Ability to seek out answers and find solutions

A great attitude and retail experience is required, but we are willing to train the right candidate in horticultural and nursery knowledge.
