Shift Supervisor

The purpose of the Shift Supervisor is to maintain consistent and efficient shift operations by providing training, direction, and ongoing communication to the shift employees so that all production goals can be accomplished in a safe manner ensuring all product meet our quality and ISO standards. 

Provide leadership to employees by circulating on the production floor, observing behaviors, reviewing production and quality records, and providing guidance and feedback.

Develop and implement training plans for shift employees based on plant and individual needs. 

Develop teams/individuals to be able to respond to any issue that might occur on shift

Compile daily production information for the previous 24-hour period and generate plant productivity reports for management review/communication.  Use these reports as a basis for continuous improvement recommendations.

Participate in all TS and ISO projects as required to ensure implementation on all TS and ISO goals.  Work with crews to develop continuous improvement methods.  

Maintain all time and attendance information for shift employees.  Also, maintain all PTO requests and work with HR to ensure all information is accurate.  

Interface with incoming (day) shift (hourly and management personnel) and make sure that all necessary/critical information.
