Job Description
Boater’s Outlet is looking to fill full and part time positions. Boater’s Outlet has been in business for over 23 years, and we are looking for someone to help push our company forward. We are looking for fast learners who can communicate effectively. We pride ourselves in customer service, and we need someone that is willing to learn about our products and help assist customers in every way possible. There is room for growth in this position and company if you are passionate about the outdoors and boating this position is for you!
Great job for seasonal summer positions or college students, as well!
Basic duties will include but are not limited to:
- Stocking shelves
- Pricing products
- Assisting customers
- Answering phone calls
- Receiving orders
- Store organization
- Cashiering
- Sales
- Data entry
- Cleaning
- Unloading trucks
Requirements include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to listen, and follow instructions
- Have a strong desire to learn about our products
- Finish tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to stand for long periods at a time (8+ hours)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Scheduling flexibility, you will be required to work Saturdays
- Ability to work long hours during the summer
- Boating experience (preferred)
Company Description
Our original store was located on a busy street, and we were very pleasantly surprised that Utah boater's loved our store! The only drawback was, when traffic was so congested, it would take several minutes just to get out of our parking lot.
In 2000, we built a new facility, about a mile away! It is three times larger and has much more parking for vehicles and trailers! We are proud of our new store and have received many compliments from our customers. We carry a huge selection of boating supplies, and accessories including: Boat Covers, wakeboards, waterskis, kneeboards, tubes, surfboards, towers, anchors, cleaners, waxes, rope, life jackets, and so much more!
