Market Merchandiser Route

Do you like to start your day early in the morning? Tired of being closed inside and working between 4 walls? Delivering Food, Snacks, and Drink Products to established routes will keep you on the road working independently without someone looking over your shoulder. Do you like being responsible for accomplishing your task and providing excellent customer service, then this is the perfect spot for you. We provide everything you need, including a company vehicle.

Position Responsibilities:

· Greets customers with a cheerful and helpful manner.

· Maintains a professional appearance.

· Ensures food is merchandised attractively and rotated timely to ensure fresh products are available at Micro Market

locations.

· Follows appropriate food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.

· Maintains & cleans display equipment, break room counters, cleans up debris and stocks condiments appropriately.

· Accurately records inventory and provides sales receipts.

· Uses math skills to submit accurate reports.

Preferred : Merchandising background or route experience in sales would be a plus but not required.

Position Requirements:

Prefer previous experience merchandising in a retail or convenience store setting.

Must have a good Motor Vehicle Report, be able to pass a Department of Transportation Physical, and be at least 21 years old. Class D License.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Physical: Ability to work in weather conditions, (Hot, Cold, Rain) Lift 35+ pounds on a repetitive basis along with reaching, bending, stooping frequently.

Position Pay Range: $600 weekly + commission

Work Schedule : 1st Shift / 40+ hours weekly (Mon- Fri) Hours 5:00am - until route complete

May have to work some weekends and holidays.

A Pre-employment Background Check & Pre-employment Drug Screen are required before employment. Additional testing will be administered.
