Position Summary:

Work directly with pharmacy applications and vendor platforms to complete associated tasks including automated synchronization of prescriptions, patient engagement and communication, scheduling clinical services appointments, data entry and adjudication of prescriptions, initiation of refill requests, and answering communication requests from pharmacies. Manage inbound and outbound telephone calls in a timely manner, answering customers/pharmacies inquiries accurately, problem-solving to promote customer loyalty, and entering data into pharmacy applications. Essential Job Functions:

• Utilize pharmacy applications and vendor platforms to complete assigned tasks
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the clinical programs the company offers that are directly associated with role
• Provide superior customer service to patients and participating pharmacies and handle any patient or pharmacy inquiries that come through the toll-free number or via e-mail
• Fill prescriptions in the pharmacy dispensing software and resolve adjudication issues
• Serve as a liaison between the company and the customer
• Enter data into pharmacy applications
• Recognize and report consumer concerns and trends in pharmacy complaints
• Answer, identify, and resolve customer and provider questions related to billing issues or concerns
• Follow-up on customer inquiries within departmental guidelines
• Correct and resubmit claims to insurance carriers where appropriate
• Forward insurance issues to appropriate department where appropriate
• Document in detail all actions taken using various documentation platforms
• Project a professional company image by anticipating customer needs, championing for the customer, act with customer in mind, exceed customer expectations, and gains customer trust and respect
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Manage any special projects requested by supervisor or team lead

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Must be Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician within 12 months of hire date
• 1+ year of experience in Pharmacy
• Pass a background check and maintain an active technician license in multiple states directly associated with role
• Ability to perform tasks associated with assigned programs and filling of prescriptions in general production
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to remain calm during stressful situations
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be 18 years or older
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up skills with close attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated, with ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to remain flexible during times of change and adjusts promptly and effectively

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in Pharmacy
