Job Overview
Performs general maintenance and repair to homes and condos relating to plumbing, painting, carpentry, minor electrical, furniture, HVAC, TV/electronics, and minor appliance repair. Will assist guest/owner with minor repairs and offer temporary solutions until any major repairs can be completed.

The Homes Maintenance Technician shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Essential Functions
* Makes minor electrical repairs and will occasionally replace fixtures
* Will make minor repairs to furniture and other mill work using standard woodworking tools
* Stains and paints wood work and furniture
* Will perform minor drywall repairs
* Provides painting and staining as needed
* Caulks fixtures as needed
* Will be responsible for spring and fall maintenance such as filter changes, battery replacement, and removal/replacement of exterior furniture.
* Will occasionally pick up and deliver bikes needing repairs to bike shop
* Will change light bulbs and batteries as necessary
* Will repair or replace garbage disposal units
* Will repair or replace faucet valves and other plumbing equipment
* Unplug toilets, garbage disposals, and drain lines
* Makes minor repairs to barbeques and will exchange propane tanks
* Replaces damaged window screens
* Provides inspection and minor repair to appliances and will occasionally remove old appliances.
* Makes minor repairs to shower and closet doors.
* Changes out TV's, media players, and other electronics
* Provides minor window blind/shade repairs
* Will repair and install damaged locks, knobs, and hardware
* Repairs general resort equipment
* Will use equipment and cleaning agents to clean walks and other facilities surfaces
* Completes all required paper work
* Communicates to owners, guests, front desk, housekeeping, property management, and outside vendors on procedures and time appraisal's for repairs needed
* Complies with all of Sunriver Resorts employment policies and works in a safe manner
* This does not include all tasks that the job may cover. Will also be expected to complete any task or job asked of by management.
Qualifications
* 1-2 years experience performing a variety of maintenance activities
* Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
* Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as carpenter's, electrician's, plumber's and painter's tools.
* Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
* Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and meet company driving standards
* Must have excellent phone etiquette
* Must be able to read, write and speak English
* Must have strong organization skills
* Must have exceptional detail in follow-up
* Must have strong computer skills
* Must be able to work well under pressure
* Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
* Must possess excellent communication skills
* Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
* Must have excellent listening skills
* Must always ensure a teamwork environment
* Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and will occasionally be scheduled as "on call"
* Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests, associates, and vendors
* Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
* Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
* Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
* Must be able to work indoors or outside
