Overview
Ensures that all customer orders are delivered with accuracy and courtesy. Must provide excellent customer service. Currently working 35-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for retrieving floral, kosher, deli, produce, grocery, pharmacy and bakery orders from designated store and delivering to customer. Deliveries are made to both commercial and residential locations.
Responsible for efficiently delivering orders on a daily basis.
Work closely with Dispatching Clerk and store associates to respond to customer requests.
Communicate with stores, and other businesses to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product.
Responsible for loading and unloading delivery vans.
Provide daily upkeep/sanitation for delivery vehicles.
Maintain a clean driving record under duties.
Provide excellent customer service to the stores and guests.
Responsible for completing delivery logs and pre/post trip sheets on a daily basis
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all times. As well as following state, local, federal driving laws at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
This position has a flexible schedule.
This position requires evening shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license required.
Agree to license monitoring
Knowledge of Capital District, Saratoga, Amsterdam, Johnstown, Catskill, Hudson, Saugerties
Ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills
Ability to use a cell phone
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
