Job Duties/Responsibilities

* Supervise a team of 25-30 phlebotomists covering several Patient Service Centers

* Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs

* Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary

* Report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues

* Interact with the clients on a regular basis

* Resolve any client related matters or customer complaints

* Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers

* Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions

* Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraises

* Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients

* Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed

* Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

* Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Fluent in Spanish and English

* Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory position

* Previous experience in the healthcare field

* Knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques

* Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is plus

* Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

* Comfortably working under minimal supervision

* Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

* Flexibility to work overtime as needed
